(470) Data verification between AS400 and the target database

QMirror/DB offers a fast and low-impact data verification feature between the AS400 and the target database.

This function begins by comparing record counts on both systems, deleting any extra records and downloading missing ones. In cases where data inconsistency occurs due to field definition issues on the AS400, which can lead to replication failures, QMirror will display the details of the first missing record to assist in problem diagnosis.

If you want to verify a specified AS400 table at once, set the verification flag TBVRFY to ‘A’ in system table QMIRROR.ZAMTBF, or set the verification flag TBVRFY to ‘X’ to omit that specified AS400 tables.

For the updated tables, QMirror/DB sets their TBVRFY to ‘U’ and does data verification in the next early morning.
