A large object (LOB) is a string data type with a size ranging from 0 bytes to 2 GB. For example, audio, video, drawing, mixed text and graphic, and image.
For performance consideration, QMirror downloads and replicates large object fields as empty strings. If you want to download and replicate large object fields to the PC databases, set large object processing TBLOB from ‘N’ to ‘Y’ in system table QMIRROR.ZAMTBF. Then, re-download the table by setting TBDWFG to ‘A’.
